Want a pet? Buy a cat!

Are you a true, devoted cat-lover? Do you find it impossible to resist the temptation of buying a new fancy T-shirt with a cat print or a cat-shaped accessory? Perhaps, it is high time you had a real cat. Although dog fans may claim the opposite, cats are indeed affectionate animals that can become tour compassionate friends and entertainers. Besides, if you have a child, a cat will definitely produce a positive impact on his/her physical and emotional development. Yet, you should remember that having a pet is a huge responsibility as you have to take care of its health, food, clothing, bed, toys, and hundreds of other things.

If you are still in doubt if you should have a cat, these arguments may convince you:

• Cats are playful and agile. This makes them really great fun to watch.
• They purr. This is one of the most delightful sounds that will help you get rid of stress.
• You can cuddle them. Cats can be held, cuddled, and pet. If they get attention, they become extremely loyal.
• They are litter-box trained. This means you will not spend a lot of time on walking them on cold and rainy days when you would prefer to stay in bed.
• They are less dependent on you.  If you leave home for a while, you can leave your cat alone without worrying that it will ruin your apartment feeling lonely while you are away.
• Caring for cats is easy. You do not have to bathe or groom them. Even for long-haired cats, simple brushing is enough.
